RFID technology is based on electromagnetic fields. These fields can be disrupted by metal. Therefore, special shielding is required between the RFID chip and the metal surface. ABS anti-metal tags are designed for mounting on metal surfaces. They are also waterproof, acid-resistant, and operate at low and high temperatures.
