Product description
RFID on-metal tags (also known as on-metal or anti-metal) feature a ferrite foil sandwiched between the RFID tag and the tag's adhesive backing. The ferrite reduces interference caused by the metal (or other conductive) surface. Ferrite is a ferrous, ceramic-like material with unique magnetic properties that result in high magnetic permeability and high electrical resistance. It is designed for mounting on metal, glass, or conductive surfaces.
NFC (Near-Field-Communication) describes a series of communication protocols for RFID communication between two electronic devices over a distance of 1-10 cm (13.56 MHz).
